Namaste, I am Darshan Patel. A result-driven digital marketer based in Ahmedabad. By Profession or education, I am a Computer Engineer. Website development is something I learned in college. Of course, by myself, colleges donu2019t teach these things.<br><br>As for Digital Marketing that is what I love to do and learn more about. I have been in Digital Marketing for more than 4 years now. I have worked with many businesses and helped them to grow their online presence, small and big businesses alike. <br><br>I started doing Digital Marketing when I was in my college. By profession, I am also a Web Designer. But, let's talk about it some other time. I started working for Free then charging premium prices and improving the quality of my work.<br><br>When I started I was more interested in SEO because of my profession as a Web Designer. There are many things related to SEO that we have to consider when creating a website. And that's how I got to know about digital marketing. Somehow, SEO just got my attention. Because of that, I decided to do something else other than what a typical computer engineer in India does. (Get a job as a coder and do the coding.)<br><br> <br><br>It was not easy to do the shift. Especially when you are the only one doing something else in your friend circle. But, that was all in the past. Now, after 4 years into digital marketing. I don't have those doubts about the future and that uncertainty looming over my head. When I first joined a start-up to learn more about Digital Marketing. I was practically earning ZERO. Yes, Literally 0 amount. I worked there for more than 6 months. The only other source I had was my skills in Web development with which I could generate some money. It was not that hard cause I was doing this while I was in college and there was not much pressure about earning. <br><br>It is a world-known fact that when you are working with a startup you have to do many things yourself. I was in the same situation when I started my journey as a Digital Marketer. I have to do many things and learn many things at the same time. It was not easy at all but also learned a lot. When I say a lot I mean it quite a lot. Like, web design, social media, graphic design, paid social and Google Ads. I also do many other things you can check about them on my website. Sometimes content creation also. Many things that I know are because of the choice to join a start-up rather than a big MNC. <br><br>After going through all these hurdles and challenges. I have successfully completed my 4 years in this journey as a digital marketer. Now, I have decided to help new marketers with whatever lessons I have learned. I have a digital marketing blog where I share my knowledge and learning.
