  1. Early Leprosy Treatment Helps Avoid Disease Progression and Disability Leprosy is a chronic infection caused by Mycobacterium leprae (M. leprae) bacteria. It can affect your skin and the nerves of the hands and feet along with the eyes and the liner of the nose. In some cases, leprosy may also affect other organs, like the kidneys and testicles in men. If left untreated, leprosy can cause deformities of the hands and feet, blindness, and kidney failure. Additionally, leprosy might have an unpredictable pattern of progression; thus, the illness may become just about severe over time. One of the numerous details about leprosy is that the causative agent can not be permanently eradicated from the body. In order to control the progression of the infection in Leprosy Treatment, the individual must take preventive measures in order to decrease the spread of the causative agent. Prophylactic treatment is administered to stop further rash production. Persons affected with leprosy generally experience flu-like symptoms; these symptoms include muscle aches, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and swelling of the facial skin and extremities. To minimize the complications that'll arise within a recovery period, it is advised that the individual avoid exertion at the very least two days prior to the commencement of the post-operation rehabilitation program. As a consequence, hospitalization is not required. Read More@ https://bit.ly/34DpAT9
