  4. Definition PBIS is based on principles of applied behavior analysis and the prevention approach and values of positive behavior support. PBIS is a framework or approach for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all students.

  5. Intervention Evidence Based *Data Driven Assists academic and social behavior Meant for entire groups of school personnel Intended for all students

  7. The way it works 1. Group of 10 people including administrators attends a 2 day training 2. Create a list of 3-5 positively declared behaviors for the entire school.

  8. 3. The team monitors to ensure 80% compliance 4. Teach your kids the expectations. *Kids need 3 + / hr. *Ratio 8:1 *teach it like a core class
