Signing Up for Medicare Automatically Enrolled In Medicare At Age 65

If you are getting Social Security benefits when you turn 65, you are automatically enrolled in Part A and Part B, which covers outpatient services. Anyone who receives Social Security retirement or disability benefits is automatically enrolled in Original Medicare. This includes Part A (hospital coverage) and Part B (coverage for doctor visits and outpatient care).
