  1. A Complete Overview on Hot Runner Molds Are you in to molding business? Or you just want to start one? Well, we are here to help you and as well enlighten you on the various ways by which you can make your molding business to grow with the use of hot runner mold. But before I cut to the chase, I’d like to let you know what is being meant by hot runner mold. The system by which all heated components used in the injection of plastics are assembled together and thereby injecting molten plastics in to cavity is known as hot runner mold. This is mostly used in Poly Ethylene Terephthalate moulds (pet moulds). In this article below, I’ll highlight some various types of molding techniques which are used by some molding companies all around India. Various molding techniques used In India •Blow molding: In this process, hollow plastic parts are formed and then the parts are joined together. These kinds of moulds are used for forming glass bottles or other hollow shapes. •Injection molding: It is a process of creating custom plastic parts by injecting molten plastic material at very high pressure into a metal mold. In this method, after the molten plastic is injected into the mold, the mold is cooled and opened to reveal a solid plastic part. •Compression molding: In this method, a heated plastic material is placed into a heated mold and then it is pushed into the desired shape. Once compression is applied to the plastic in the right shape, the heating process ensures that the plastic contains maximum strength.
