  1. AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD) The term "autism spectrum disorder" (ASD) covers a large group of related conditions that have an impact on a person's behaviour, communication, and social interaction. ASD is a spectrum condition since each person's symptoms and level of severity differ. THE 3 MOST COMMON TYPES OF AUTISM 1. Asperger’s Syndrome On the autistic spectrum, Asperger's syndrome is frequently regarded as being on the "milder" end. Asperger's syndrome is typically identified in kids much later than other forms of autism. Even while people with Asperger's frequently have normal IQs and language development, they could have a very hard time navigating social situations. 2. Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) This broad spectrum type, also known as atypical autism, often refers to those people who, in terms of the extent of their symptoms, fall between Asperger's and autistic disorder. Early delays in talking or moving may be the first indication of atypical autism, which eventually results in more significant delays and challenges with communication and social development.

  2. 3. Autistic Disorder Children with autistic disorder will experience worse symptoms and struggle with social interaction and communication. Autism disorder affects kids of all intelligence levels (below average, average, and above average). Significant communication difficulties or limitations, such as making little to no eye contact, not reacting to verbal cues or their name, speaking with a flat pitch, adhering to a rigorous routine, and engaging in repeating behaviours, are characteristics of autism disorder. THERAPIES FOR AUTISM There are various types of therapies available for autism that include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Occupational Therapy Speech Therapy Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Applied Behavioural Analysis Stem Cell Therapy AUTISM IN ADULTS Adults with autism spectrum disorders may experience difficulties managing their employment and interacting with friends and coworkers. Adults with autism may struggle to keep eye contact with their colleagues at work, become agitated if a routine (such as the room layout or the timetable) changes, or discover that they are unable to communicate with or relate to their coworkers. Adults with autism have a wide range of communicate with or relate to their coworkers. Adults with autism have a wide range of symptoms, much like children do, and all of these symptoms have the potential to lead to frustration, anxiety, or sadness.
