ABOUT UNIVERSITY The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences was created following the establishment of the state of Telangana by enacting the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Act via G.O.Ms No. 20 HM&FW (Cl) Department Dated: 26.09.2014, however, with headquarters in Warangal. Dr. B.Karunakar Reddy has been selected as the university's first vice-chancellor. Moreover, under the capable leadership of Hon'ble Health Minister Sri Ch Laxma Reddy garu and Special Chief Secretary Sri Rajeshwar Tiwari garu, all necessary approvals from the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Central Council for Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homeopathy and Indian Nursing Council were obtained, and the University of Health Sciences began operations in the academic year 2016-17 from a small renovated block on the Kakatiya Medical College campus.

Also, all admissions have been completed within the time frames specified by the Central Councils, such as MCI, DCI, CCIM, CCH, INC, and others. Moreover, the University has completed all admissions, including Management Quota seats, based on merit in the NEET UG, NEET PG, and AIPGET (AYUSH -PG) and other entrance exams, in accordance with Government rules. Also, PG Medical Admissions for the 2018-19 academic year have been concluded.

  7. INFRASTRUCTURE Healthcare The college offers students with health care by providing First-Aid and other basic services, and when necessary, a separate hall is set aside for this purpose. Additionally, Doctors are available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Sports Additionally, as sports plays a an exorbitantly important role in the development of a student. The college also has sports facility for the students, for both indoor and outdoor games.
