  1. Fighting Human Trafficking in Israel Blessing Broker highlights Israel’s ongoing struggle against human trafficking and the organization’s mission to combat it through rescue operations, trauma recovery, and economic empowerment. It sheds light on critical statistics, systemic challenges, and actionable ways individuals and partners can help restore dignity and hope to survivors.

  2. The Crisis At A Glance Israel is both a destination & transit country for human trafficking, especially sex, forced labor, and other exploitative conditions. From 2017-2021, 325 documented victims: ~71% women, ~28% men, ~1% minors. In 2022: 25 investigations → only 5 convictions, zero labor trafficking convictions despite NGOs flagging many cases. Vulnerable groups include asylum seekers, people with limited legal work rights, and those facing economic hardship.

  3. 1 Rescue & Immediate Care: 24/7 hotline, safe houses, medical & legal support, crisis stabilization. 2. Counseling & Healing: Trauma-focused therapy, group/peer support, art/music therapy, spiritual & emotional care. 3. Economic Empowerment: Vocational training, Hebrew language & tech education, job placements, micro-business support & mentorship. Blessing Broker’s 3-Pillar Approach

  4. Gaps & Call to Action Enforcement Shortfalls: Laws exist but low prosecution/conviction rates; labor trafficking largely unaddressed. Structural Vulnerability: Legal, economic, and social barriers leave many at risk. Blessing Broker’s Role: Research & vetting; oversight of projects; full reporting (narrative & photographic) to donors. How You Can Help: Support programs financially, spread awareness, volunteer or partner to help rebuild dignity for survivors.
