But now it becomes a major source of income for the farmers and the products and it supports a big base for a wide size of the economy. There are various types of advantages that are associated with the farming of sheep. In India, sheep and goat supports farming especially in the area where crop and dairy farming are not economical. Better health and growth in sheep can provide better farming and income. For this, there must be an adequate quantity of nutritional value in the body. Sheep For Meat Production: A) In India, most sheep and lambs are dual purpose animals that are kept for both meat and wool production. Meat is a significant source of profit in sheep rearing. B) Meat sheep producers sell feeder lambs or slaughter lambs. The average weight of lambs for meat range from 20-30Kg. But it can be cured by using the right wool enhancing supplement which makes their hair fluffy and smooth. C) Most of the income comes from “Fine Wool” in the commodity market. Better feeding of nutrients with sheep feed supplement, housing, health care, handling, and harvesting are the critical factors for the production of “Fine Wool”. Sheep For Milk Production: A) Sheep is the first animal which is milked before cows. In India, the sheep dairy industry is very less. As we see above there are many benefits that are associated with the farming of sheep. All these needs better health of sheep which helps in providing the desired result. Better health is achieved when there is an ample amount of nutrition in the body which promotes better health and growth without any diseases. If in some situation when the health gets low which can happen due to multiple reasons like low feeding, toxins in the body, low immunity or unhealthy digestion they directly affect the overall health.
