  1. Significance of Diwali in India Among the all other festive celebrations in India, the festival of Diwali has its own value. It is the festival of lights which is celebrated with great pomp and show in India and also outside the country premises. The great day of festivity brings happiness and togetherness in the life of people. Everyone puts best of his endeavors to reach out home, when the festival of Diwali is there. Whether it’s the holiday break for hostlers, or office leaves for working professionals the vacations for Diwali really means a lot. Everyone turn towards their homes and home towns for the festive celebration. The same zest and zeal for festive celebration cannot be spotted in any other big day of festival.
