  1. Could the Health Care Insurance in the US Get Any Worse? Complaints about the American healthcare system go as far back as the 70’s. As time goes by, however, American citizens continue to realize just how many constraints they have to undergo so as to be treated for their illnesses. Consequently, these problems have led to increased unrest and pressure on the government to improve the situation at hand. We still have a long way to go in having satisfactory healthcare for the majority of Americans. The problems discussed below explain why this is the case. 1. Pharmacy Online big advantage Did you know that 35 percent of Americans have difficulty in paying their medical bills? Additionally, every two out of three filings for bankruptcy throughout the nation are linked to the inability to pay hospital bills, inadequate insurance or the complete lack of medical insurance. Ironically, America ranks first in national expenditure dedicated to healthcare. In fact, America’s budget for the health care system trounces the funds for the other countries in the top ten list combined! Additionally, prices to receive the same medical procedures are inconsistent across states. For example, you could pay up to ten times the price for a hip replacement in Monterrey Park, California than it would cost to receive the same treatment in Ada, Oklahoma. 2. Prices Favor the Insured Most insurance companies negotiate the rates healthcare providers charge patients. This leads to lower costs for Americans who are medically insured. Unfortunately, most insurance providers have high premiums that the poor cannot afford. As such, these people are left uninsured and are charged unsubsidized, inflated prices to receive the same treatments. How do you solve a problem by charging the poor more for the same services? Exactly, you cannot, so accessing medical services continues to bring us a problem. 3. There is poor communication between physicians and patients Every three out of ten Americans express dissatisfaction with their health practitioner’s “bedside manner.” A majority of American citizens feel that their appointments do not go as smoothly as they would like them to in terms of wait times. Further, most patients and their loved ones are usually dissatisfied with the explanations their physicians give them on the condition of the sick person as well as on the details of the kind of treatment the patient will receive. Questions are not entirely answered, and this could lead to loved ones not knowing how exactly they should help patients recover after their stay in the hospital. 4. The system is uncoordinated Receiving treatment from multiple healthcare providers has been regarded as an often frustrating experience for the average American. It gets worse if you have a complicated illness that requires you to visit specialists in an even higher number of medical facilities. Access to your treatment records under such cases is difficult, and there are numerous examples of information on patients getting misplaced or lost. As a result, every three out of ten lab tests have to be reordered when going for referrals or receiving treatment. Further, over 70 percent of referrals are conducted with the specialist lacking prior communication with the patient’s primary health care provider regarding his or her condition. Appointments go unscheduled and have to be postponed, leading to Americans’ health deteriorating by the day. Also, there are multiple cases of confidentiality violations when medical records are transferred from one provider to the other. http://www.CanadaPharmacyMeds.org
