With the lighthearted “Cha-Ching for Charity” program instituted by Sales Manager Tom DeFacci, the Illinois beer distributor’s sales staff was able to contribute much needed funds to the non-profit organization Together We Cope.

Automotive Dealerships • Soave entered automotive retailing with the acquisition of a Lincoln-Mercury franchise in Independence, Missouri in 1990. • Now consists of a dozen franchises in four locations in Kansas and Missouri. • Sells the luxury brands of Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Porsche retailed by Aristocrat Motors and sporty and economical Honda models sold by Independence Honda • Goal: excellent customer service. True to the Anthony Soave’s vision for Soave Enterprises, CITY Beverage-Markham is active in the community and serves many venues and special events within its territory, including Joliet Jackhammers Baseball, Chicagoland Speedway, Balmoral Park Racetrack, among many others

Metals Recycling • Soave Enterprises entered the metals recycling business in 1997 with its investment in Ferrous Processing and Trading • Currently the fifth largest metals recycler in the industry • Provides a full range of environmentally friendly metals recovery processes, including one of the world’s first mega-shredders that recovers over 200 tons of recycled metals per hour. • Operations in Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Ontario

Beverage Distribution • Through affiliate CITY Beverage, developed a three tier system of alcohol distribution: • Producers • Distributors • Retailers • Increased ability to track actual movement of beer • Eliminates economic incentive for illegal manufacturing, diversion and distribution • Promotes healthy competition and the facilitation of a wide selection of brands City Beverage-Markham is an affiliate of Soave Enterprises which was founded by Anthony Soave. Through CITY Beverage, Soave Enterprises ranks as the largest beer wholesaler in the state of Illinois, and the sixth largest wholesaler in the Anheuser-Busch family.
