    5. PURPOSE OF ATP DEVELOP AND TRAIN COMBAT READY CREWS AS INTEGRAL MEMBERS OF COMBINED ARMS TEAM PROVIDE SAFE, STANDARDIZED AND REALISTIC TRAINING

    6. REQUIRES ANALYSIS OF THESE THREE ELEMENTS INDIVIDUAL TRAINING CREW TRAINING COLLECTIVE TRAINING. SOURCE THAT IDENTIFIES COLLECTIVE TRAINING MISSION ESSENTIAL TASK LIST (METL) TC 1-210 CDR's PRIMARY TNG DOCUMENT LINKING ALL TASKS FOCUS OF ATP

    9. OPERATIONS OFFICER/S3 PRINCIPAL STAFF OFFICER FOR OPERATIONS AND TRAINING IDENTIFIES TRAINING REQUIREMENTS PREPARES TRAINING PLANS CARRIES OUT TRAINING PROGRAMS CONDUCTS TRAINING INSPECTIONS COMPILES TRAINING RECORDS

    10. THE HIRED HELP EVALUATORS/TRAINERS UNIT TRAINER SAFETY OFFICER MAINTENANCE TEST PILOT STANDARDS OFFICER

COMMANDERS EVALUATION RECORDS REVIEW AND / OR FLIGHT EVALUATION COMPLETED WITHIN 45 DAYS OF SIGN IN OR AFTER EFFECTIVE DATE OF FLIGHT STATUS ORDERS WHICHEVER OCCURS LAST READINESS LEVEL DETERMINED BY QUALIFICATIONS AT LAST UNIT AS COMPARED TO ASSIGNED UNIT TASKS ALL IERW AVIATORS ARE RL 3

    23. FAC LEVEL COMMANDER DESIGNATED POSITION BASED ON TOE OR TDA WHICH DETERMINES PROFICIENCY REQUIRED. COMMANDERS WILL NOT CHANGE FAC LEVELS MERELY TO REDUCE INDIVIDUAL OR UNIT FLYING-HOUR REQUIREMENTS.

    34. READINESS LEVELS RL 1 - STATUS WHEN CONSIDERED MISSION-READY MUST COMPLETE FLYING HOUR, SFTS, TASK ITERATION, & EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS IAW: ATM & ON CTL SOME REQUIREMENTS MAY BE PRORATED OR ADJUSTED

    35. READINESS LEVELS PROGRESSION 90 CONSECUTIVE DAYS FROM ONE RL TO ANOTHER, TOTAL OF 180 DAYS MAY COMPLETE IN LESS TIME USAR CREWS HAVE 1 YEAR TO PROGRESS FROM RL3 TO RL2. APPLIES TO ALTERNATE/ADDITIONAL ACFT QUALIFICATION & REFRESHER TRAINING

    36. READINESS LEVELS PROGRESSION (CONT.) TIME EXCLUDES: TEMPORARY DUTY DEPLOYMENT WHERE UNABLE TO FLY MEDICAL OR NON-MEDICAL SUSPENSION GROUNDING OF ACFT BY HQ, DA LEAVE APPROVED BY UNIT COMMANDER EXCLUSION EXCEEDS 45 CONSECUTIVE DAYS, CREWMEMBER MUST RESTART CURRENT RL PROGRESSION. HAVE 90 CONSECUTIVE DAYS TO PROGRESS TO NEXT READINESS LEVEL.

    37. READINESS LEVELS REFRESHER & MISSION TRAINING MAY BE CONCURRENT DURING RL PROGRESSION DEMONSTRATED IN EACH MODE (Day, Night,NVD) (TC 1-210 para. 2-5(3)) RECLASSIFIED - FLT DEFICIENCY ONLY TASKS GRADED UNSATISFACTORY TIME LIMIT EXCEEDED OR MINIMUMS NOT MET CDR TAKES ACTION IAW AR 95-1 OR NGR(AR) 95-01 NO PIC DUTIES UNTIL REQUIREMENTS MET

READINESS LEVELS AFTER INVESTIGATION CDR TAKES ONE OF FOLLOWING ACTIONS: GRANT 30 DAY EXTENSION ( ENTERED ON IATF AND DA FORM 759) ISSUE A WAIVER (ENTERED ON DA FORM 759 BUT NOT IATF) APPROVED BY ONE OF FOLLOWING: COLONEL OR ABOVE IN CHAIN OF COMMAND COMMANDERS OF MACOMs COMMANDER OF USAR COMMAND CHIEF, NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU EXTENSION / WAIVER - NOT GRANTED OR TIMES NOT MET, CDR WILL SUSPEND AVIATOR AND CONVENE FLIGHT EVALUATION BOARD.
