  1. A Survey on Diabetics Study Type Ad hoc online study Geography Brazil & China Sample Size Target Group 75 completes for each market Type 1 & Type 2 diabetics with quotas for insulin and non-insulin users

  2. What was the research problem? • The client wanted to understand the behaviour and preferences of diabetes patients in general along with the variations among Type-1 & Type-2 diabetics. • The client also wanted a part of the survey to focus on the common symptoms, vaccination types and challenges faced during the treatment of diabetic patients. The goal here was to understand the disease and produce better drugs and vaccines.

  3. What were the challenges? • There were strict quotas on the type of diabetics – Type 1 and Type 2, plus quotas on insulin users and non-users. It was difficult to manage these quotas during the later stages of the study as these quotas were mostly non-targetable, which slowed down the progress drastically.

  4. How did Borderless Access solve the problem? Brazil China While recruiting diabetics patients, older age groups were targeted as they are more likely to be suffering from or are prone to diabetes as compared to the younger audience. Pre-screening the respondents for diabetes criteria boosted the progress and fetched good number of completes.

  5. Outcome • Post the initial struggle, we successfully delivered the committed numbers in both the markets. • The client reciprocated with frequent and multiple healthcare project requests.
