  2. What was the research requirement? What was the research requirement? A very well-known digital media research company wanted to understand the purchase trends of daily usage products. The client wanted us to maintain a tracker to analyse product It was a tracker based study to help a client understand consumer trends related to common daily use products. usage patterns such as why and when a consumer switched from one product to another.

Initial challenges Initial challenges • Due to the length of the survey, the number of completes per day was less during initial stages. • Interlocking quotas resulted in a huge number of quota full during later stages of the survey. • As this was a tracker based survey, the study was incorporated in multiple waves. Since we had already achieved a good number of completes during the initial waves, matching this number in later waves, to analyze trends, was a challenge.

  5. Outcome Outcome • Total number of completes exceeded client’s expectation. • The data gathered gave the client excellent insights about consumer’s product usage behaviour. • The client was able to execute their product placement and marketing efforts with greater success.
