What was the research requirement? • A leading manufacturer of general-purpose utility vehicles, light commercial vehicles, tractors, SUVs and other types of vehicles wanted to assess their leadership and management strengths and weaknesses • The client wanted to use a 360 degree feedback system as a development and performance appraisaltool • Our task included assessingand analysing the data from the feedback to help the client achieve their objectives 2

What was Borderless Access’ approach? • Borderless Access advocated conducting an online assessment survey among subordinates, peers and managers in the organizational hierarchy • An elaborate questionnaire was designed and programmed, covering major aspects of leadership competencies such as customer focus, teamwork, innovation, etc. inclusive of open-end rationales to decipher employee mindset • An assessment scale was structured to appraise competencies and behavioural indicators 3

  4. Outcome • The study increased awareness about relevant competencies and provided a much better perspective of individuals • Critical performance aspects were clarified and gaps were identified • The client was able to lay more focus on development while reinforcing the desired competencies 4
