UAE’s Healthcare Sector • Healthcare is among the priority sectors identified by the UAE government and, as a result, the UAE healthcare industry has displayed extraordinary growth and significant progress in the past few years. • The UAE has many government and privately run hospitals, day care centers and primary health clinics to cater to its population.

UAE’s Healthcare Sector • It is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health to provide medical care and ensure that the people have proper access to hospitals in UAE. • Medical consultation and treatment is free for UAE nationals in most cases and subsidized for expatriates at government-run hospitals.

Clinics in Dubai • Healthcare providers are trying to cut down the congestion at clinics and build more capacity so that people can conveniently access their facilities. • Nowadays, clinics in Dubai have extended their timings. Earlier, there was an afternoon break, now the clinics start from 7 or 8 am and work till 10pm, with no break. This way they are trying to accommodate more patients.
