    4. AMC’s support of ARFORGEN is conducted by our depots , arsenals, ammunition, chemical plants and research and development centers.     5. Commanders & Small Business Representatives 5 Here’s our AMC Commanders and Small Business Representatives. Our Commander is GEN Ann Dunwoody, she is the first woman in U.S. military and uniformed service history to achieve a four-star. LTG James Pillsbury is her Deputy Commanding General, Ms Teresa Gerton is Executive Deputy to the Commanding General and last but not least is the Director of the Office of Small Business Programs, Nancy Small. AMC OSBP has mgt oversight over 7 MSCs which include ACC, ASC, AMCOM LCMC, CECOM LCMC, RDECOM, JM&L LCMC, and TACOM LCMC. There is a small business advocate at every AMC contracting office. Activities with over $100M/year in contracts have full-time small business specialists. TACOM’s AD is John Madden and they are responsible for Tank & Automotive acquisitions; ASC’s AD is Bob Mathy’s they provide logistical sustainment; AMCOM’s AD is Dave Seitz and they provide Aviation & Missile’s; Joint Munitions & Lethality Cmd AD’s is Beth Scherr; CECOM LCMC AD Judith Vogt Communications & Electronic’s; RDECOM AD John O’Brien Research & Development; ACC AD Alice Williams-Gray responsible for installation level services & supplies, common use IT, H/W, S/W, Services & Mission Support. TACOM - Develops, acquires, fields, and sustains Soldier and ground systems for the Warfighter through the ntegration of effective and timely acquisition, logistics, and cutting-edge technology JM&L - Execute integrated life cycle management through a team of dedicated professionals who provide effective, available and affordable munitions for joint Warfighters. SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS Our small business mission is all about ensuring companies like yours are fully considered for participation in our acquisition programs by assuring a fair and equitable distribution of opportunities. Ultimately, by seeking small business solutions first, AMC will achieve it’s vision of accomplishing greater small business participation and becoming the premier advocate for the Small Business Program within DoD. Small Business is a key element to both AMC’s and AMCOM’s future plans and our ability to perform our mission.     7. OFFICE OF SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS Advise the CG, AMC on all matters related to small businesses. Represent the CG, AMC on small business matters addressed at the Department of the Army level. Develop AMC-wide small business enterprise. Provide policy and oversight to ensure compliance by all major subordinate commands. Provide subordinate commands and small businesses with training and tools to foster an environment that encourages small business participation in the acquisition process.

    8. AMC Small Business Offices Small Business offices are located across the country and are actively working to develop small business opportunities. The AMC Small Business Office has expanded to include the Army Contracting Command, Mission Installation Contracting Command and the Expeditionary Contracting Command. With the inclusion of these commands, we will achieve greater small business participation.
