Quarantine Approved Premises (QAPs) • Over 2400 QAPs across Australia • Class 1 premises play an important role in the logistics infrastructure for sea and airfreight (further extension of industry partnership) • Annual renewal process • Section 46A Quarantine Act 1908 • By 30 June 07, 92% of QAPs had completed the renewal process • 66% completed by the due date in 2006 AQIS - Cargo Industry Forum 2007
