  2. About Me • My learning journey has been awesome this semester as I learnt so many new topics. • Math- I learnt how to identify patterns and convert fractions to decimals and vice versa and how to identify complementary angles (90°) and supplementary angles (180°). I got an opportunity to participate in the inter-school Math event – ‘Unboxed.  • Skills- I have had 3 big achievements this term and they were – first, I have improved my listening skills as I stopped blurting out and had the patience to listen to my peers’ ideas and responses . Second, I have improved my communication skills as I was more confident while talking about my ideas and now, I can explain my thoughts more accurately. Third I keep myself more organized. The learner profile attributes I have shown are principled, caring, inquirer and knowledgeable, as I made responsible choices to contribute and learn about organizations, I showed empathy towards endangered animals and became curious about history. In the first semester, the skills I developed were the social skills as I got the opportunity to attend physical school which also helped me develop my self-management skills.  • Language- There was a lot of research work as we did lot of presentations. I got opportunities to participate in debates. One thing that I would want to work hard on is my handwriting as I want to switch to cursive writing soon.  • Specialist lesson- Though Music has always been my favourite specialist subject but this time I thoroughly enjoyed Makerspace class as I learnt new things like engineering drawing. This was one of my best semesters, as I was able to attend my school physically. I was chosen as a member of the council which has helped me become more responsible and made me proud of myself. I promise myself to keep on learning more and achieve my goals that I have set for myself.

  3. One achievement of yours this year(My AHA moment) • The Learning Objective of this task was to make an organization for a sustainable future and spread awareness about the issue/problem. •  I chose this task as my AHA moment because I had 2 goals in research skills which were to use different media tools to effectively present my idea; frame appropriate research questions and I learnt a new tool which is 'Google Sites', and I could make my own questions and put them on the sites. So, because of this task, I am getting better in improving my goal. Click here

  4. Language Goals For 1st semester • In language my smart goals would be to read more books so that my spellings and punctuation get better, I would achieve this goal next month. I would read 3 books in a week. I would even read more newspaper articles  so that I know what is going on around me. I will reach my goal by next month and promise to work on it.   • Time- I will achieve my goal by the end of this semester as there is a lot to learn every day.

  5. Language Goals For 2nd semester • My goals for this semester is to learn new words and enhance my vocabulary bank. I want to improve my pronunciation of difficult words so first I must learn those words in order to learn their pronunciation. Enhance my creativity as it was in my report card. I must use the correct grammar while I am speaking. I can use figurative language with a little support as Miss Vandana mentioned in the report card. Thus, I surely must improve and work upon it. I can write grammatically correct sentences with a little help as I do make grammatical errors sometimes but by practicing daily, I will surely improve. • Time- I will achieve my goal till the end of the semester. • Creative Canvas - Seesaw

Strategies to achieve my goal- • The strategies I will use to achieve my goals will be to read more books, newspapers, articles on a daily basis and try to watch series which have a better vocabulary which will help me learn faster. After l learn the word, I can learn the pronunciation from google. From google I can even find synonyms which will enhance my vocabulary. I have personally noticed that I do learn some good new words from the series that I watch on Netflix. I learn to put the word and use it in a sentence with less or no grammatical errors. I would like to interact with people who have good command over English. 

  7. MATH GOALS FOR 1ST SEMESTER • My goal in the 1st semester was to solve big calculations mentally. I wanted to be thorough with my tables from 2-16. Also, practice my word problems. Basically, I have to improve my computation skills. • Time- If I make small goals regarding this goal, I will surely achieve my goal on time which is the 1st of January. 3 strategies that will help me Achieve my goal are:-  I would practice Maths daily by doing some online sheets. I would time myself while answering a question. This will help me increase my speed. I would take up challenging questions to challenge myself and check how much I must work to achieve my goal.

  8. Math Goals For 2nd semester • In Maths, my goal is the Computational skills and in that, I must be independent in analyzing the problem and solve it as sometimes I make some silly mistakes in understanding the problem and my answer is wrong. • Strategies to achieve my goal are that I will practice 3-4 multi-step word problems and try to understand and analyze them more deeply. I would even try to do some online sheets of word problems and request my teacher to assign me some task to practice my word problems  and by 28-02-2022 I will eventually achieve my goal. • Creative Canvas - Seesaw

UOI GOALS FOR 2Nd SEMESTER • My goals for this semester are to frame research questions as I realised in the civilization's topic,  I needed a little help in framing my own complexed research questions but with time, I am getting better at it. I want to improve in this area as I feel I could present my work with different tools which I still need to explore rather than the normal PPTs that I often use as a medium to showcase my work.  • Creative Canvas - Seesaw

  10. Strategies to achieve my goal- • The strategies I will use to achieve my goals will be to explore more tools online and with that, try to spend time in exploring the tool of the month. After exploring the tools, I will try to create a project on these platforms so that my work is more appealing, and I become a pro in it. From google I can learn more features regarding it. I have personally noticed that I get a lot of practice from these online tasks. So, I can practice more of these online tasks, which help me get better and stronger day by day.   11. Support • Parent-. • My parents can help me by giving me some mental Maths questions and asking random tables from 2-16. • Teacher-. • My teacher can assign me more seesaw tasks on mental Maths and more tasks on framing strong questions on a particular topic.
