The founders noticed that while DeFi tools were powerful, they were often too technical for everyday users. Tracking assets across multiple wallets, comparing yields, or understanding protocol risks required deep knowledge and constant manual effort. To change that, Doel AI envisioned a chatbot ecosystem that could talk directly to users, turning complex data into simple conversations. By partnering with Ment Tech Labs, the team aimed to build an AI-powered assistant capable of real-time portfolio tracking, yield insights, and on-chain analytics. Start Your Project Key Challenges Faced Before Partnering with Ment Tech Labs Before collaborating with Ment Tech Labs, the Doel AI team faced several technical and design challenges that limited the platform’s ability to deliver accurate, conversational, and real-time DeFi intelligence. Fragmented DeFi Data Sources On-chain data was scattered across multiple protocols and block explorers, making it difficult to aggregate accurate insights for users in one place. Limited Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Early chatbot prototypes struggled to interpret DeFi-specific queries, especially those involving token pairs, liquidity pools, and real-time analytics. Inconsistent Portfolio Tracking Across Chains Users holding assets across multiple networks couldn’t view unified analytics, as existing APIs lacked cross-chain interoperability. Absence of Real-Time Market Updates The system lacked live data feeds, meaning users often received outdated information about asset prices or liquidity metrics. Low User Trust and Explainability Without transparent data sources or verifiable contract interactions, users questioned the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated insights. 7/28
