  1. Achieving Backlink and Organic Traffic Backlinks are the most important component to an effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategy. A backlink is simply a link to a particular web page from another site. A web page, blog post, or website could be a textually linked web resource. Backlinks can also be in the form of hyperlinks that lead from one web page or blog post to another. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9nWvqAOmlQ&feature=youtu.be has provided an excellent tool, the Google Sitemaps, which enables you to view exactly what backlinks exist from every web page on the internet. Sitemap is an amazing tool and it really helps you determine where your backlinks are located. Google provides an explanation of each icon along with their location on a web page in the Google Sitemaps tool. The top five pages of a Google page is the topmost areas in the Google Sitemap. Most backlinks are not just a text link, but they are also a graphical link. They consist of a label, image, or logo and are clickable. When you click on a backlink it will take you to that specific page or to the main site but either way backlinks are extremely valuable when it comes to SEO and search engine results. Google uses a special algorithm for indexing backlinks so even though backlinks from a single webpage could bring you significant visitors, there are still other relevant factors that need to be considered. The first factor that Google considers when determining ranking is the number of inbound links. The more backlinks that a page has the better its ranking will be. However, you may wonder how having a lot of backlinks is advantageous in the eyes of Google SEO. Backlinks are essentially the lifeblood of search engine optimization and getting enough of them is extremely important. If Google has found that one website links to a particular page more than another, Google will consider that one website links to more relevant pages in terms of content and relevance thus boosting its own rankings.Google looks for several factors when determining which sites to rank higher and this includes the number of backlinks and the frequency with which they are exchanged. The most popular way to exchange backlinks is through inbound links. This is where many webmasters get started by creating an account and then submitting their sites to the search engine. One can view a site's BSC (backlinks scorecard) and discover how many incoming links are directed at each page. A site with a large number of outbound links is called a "top link", while a site that receives little backlinks is called a "top receiving link". Getting top rated backlinks from authority sites helps your site receive more traffic from other sources.Another factor in Google's algorithms is the relevancy of the content presented on a page. Google looks to see that content is relevant to what the user is searching for. Thus, if the search query is about dog training, then the page containing relevant information on dog training is more likely to be higher ranked than one about making snowballs. While it's not exactly clear how Google decides which sites to rank higher, the relevancy of the content does play a significant part in ranking factors.Google also checks backlinks against several other websites. This is why you will find that your web page will appear in Google's search console even though there are no backlinks on your web page. When Google calculates a sites ranking using a particular formula, it takes into account all of the backlinks a page has from other websites. Thus, if you want your page to receive more traffic, you need to check backlinks against other websites to ensure that your web page receives as many backlinks as possible. Finally, Google uses a special algorithm to determine a site's page-level authority. Page-level authority is the

  2. number of backlinks a particular page has from other similar web pages. Higher page-level authority gives a site greater authority and more backlinks. Higher authority also means more organic traffic. While it's impossible to manipulate link popularity or backlinks, you can increase your web pages authority and receive more organic traffic.
