The reefs are so pristine that you don’t have to go deep to see a lot. Go for snorkelling with sea turtles and you will be amazed to catch more than half a dozen munching their lunch at the reef. Spend enough time in the water, you can be lucky to see so much more than just sea turtles.

The Protected Marine Area of Banana Reef has a bit of everything. This area has most beautiful caves, dramatic cliffs, overhangs and brilliant coral growths. A popular spot with divers, the caves at Banana Reef contain several species of exotic fish, and other marine life like the squirrelfish, soldierfish and Maldivian grubfish. Feel as if you are in your own giant aquarium. Snorkelling is only appropriate for those who can swim unassisted. Don’t worry, your guide will always remain with you to ensure comfort & safety.

This is magical effect and is caused by bioluminescent plankton that become visible in warm coastal waters.
