Meaning, consistent care with the same professional that you have built a relationship with and who knows and understands your treatment needs.  Owned by a Springwood local, Podiatrist Phillip Smith has been practicing in the Blue Mountains since 2010. Edward Paluzzano, also an experienced podiatrist, is well known to the Mountains, having practiced since 2017 in Blaxland, Springwood and Katoomba. Birdwood Podiatry takes its name from the gully on the North side of Springwood, located on Dharug country.  A popular bush walk that captures much of the reason so many of us choose to call the mountains our home. Birdwood Gully is lined with ferns and spectacular glow worm displays at night; Birdwood also happens to be the favourite walk of both of Phil's children.  When contemplating a name for the practice, it felt like a perfect fit. Combining steadfastness and familiarity amongst our community with a connection to Phil’s home & family.
