Commonly performed tests • Bloodwork – Blood chemistries (to evaluate organ function), Complete Blood Count ?CBC? and anemia testing Disease screening (speci?c for each species) – including Psi?acosis, Avian Bornavirus, and Psi?acine Beak and Feather Disease testing for birds Avian and reptile sexing • • Fecal testing to look for parasites, yeast & bacterial overgrowths, occult blood, and more Cytology, including microscopic samples of masses, avian crop sampling, and other microscopic samples.

Computed Tomography ?CT?: CT scans provide cross-sectional • images and are particularly helpful for evaluating complex anatomical structures and identifying abnormalities in soft tissues and bones. Magnetic Resonance Imaging ?MRI?: MRI uses powerful magnets • and radio waves to produce detailed images of soft tissues, nerves, and the brain.
