Chicks Who Click Questions Q: When blogging what is actually necessary: Tags, links, content, click throughs, comments, content on each image, content on the post itself, tags on each image, links on images, all of it? A: The more the better. However focus on 3-4 specific keywords or keyword phrases for each blog post.
Chicks Who Click Questions Q: What is a good reliable way to get backlinks to your site? A: Relevant websites that provide information are good. • Write a guest blog article, get mentioned in someone’s blog • Local directories • Do good work and people will link out to you
Chicks Who Click Questions Q: What should we NOT do? What things can get us "blacklisted" from Google? A: Top things that can get you blacklisted: • Keyword stuffing – limit use of keyword to 2 times or 8% of total word count, write for audience not for page ranking • Hidden text – keywords or links that are the same color as the background • Mirror Website – sites that have identical content but employ different keywords and meta tags
Chicks Who Click Questions Q: Is using the SAME keywords for blog post bad? IE I copy and paste and it is about 300 different keywords, is that overkill? A: That is an old method that will not help your blog posts rank. • Every post should have unique content with about 3 target keywords • Don’t overdo the use of each keywords, mentioning it 2-3 times is enough
Chicks Who Click Questions Q: If we have blogsites what is the best way to get more pages cached on google? A: The best way to get your site indexed is by using sitemaps and interlinking between various pages • Google Webmaster tools will show you how many pages are indexed by Google • Don’t overdo the use of each keywords, mentioning it 2-3 times is enough
