  1. ADDERALL: ITS USES AND ABUSES Adderall is a combination of two stimulant drugs, amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. Adderall XR is an extended-release form of the drug. The drug acts as a central nervous system stimulant that affects brain and nerve chemicals.
