The need to constantly “do” can turn toxic and is often ineffective and unproductivity. Toxic productivity can lead to unhealthy feelings of low self-worth, negative self- judgment, and failure if it was not constantly done. This productivity also arises when an individual has an unhealthy passion for being productive and constantly. In other words, noxious productivity appears when an individual has an unhealthy obsession with being productive and is constantly on the go.

  2. Causes Of Toxic Productivity Causes Of Toxic Productivity These are some following signs that show toxic productivity; 1. Feeling like a failure If you are not productive one of the understandings of being productive in the business field is to stop working when the task is complete. But not for someone who has a great desire to be productive. 2. Assess yourself It is based on what you have not done. This is why evaluating work is important by drawing a milestone map. If you measure yourself based on what you have not done, you can run so fast that you miss what you have accomplished. 3. Feel guilty If you enjoy relaxing time the pattern of toxic productivity, according to a psychologist, enjoying leisure time without feeling guilty is rarely experienced by someone with toxic productivity.

Seek mental health treatment: Mental illness can limit the resources you have available to get stuff done. Consult with some mental health doctor, and attend some motivational classes which help you to take away from mental health treatment. 2. Become self-aware: The absence of self-aware causes harmful behavior. Emotionally self- aware people are aware of how their feelings and reactions impact them and their work performance. 3. Be kind to yourself: It is difficult to keep track of employees' activity. So always be kind to yourself. You may lose your temper, have a nervous breakdown, or act hastily.
