  4. B.Ed Entrance Exam Eligibility Candidates need to meet the set criteria to be eligible for applying for the B.Ed entrance exams. The candidature can be cancelled at any exam stage if the candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility criteria. The criteria are as follows: • The candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Social Science/ Humanities/Science or a graduate of Bachelor of Technology/Engineering with a specialisation in mathematics or science with at least 50-55% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognised university. • The candidates who have completed their post-graduation degree in the programmes mentioned above with a minimum aggregate of 50% are also eligible to apply for the B.Ed entrance exam. • There is no upper age limit, but the B.Ed entrance exam has a lower age limit of 19 years for the candidates to be eligible for applying.

  5. B.Ed. Entrance Exam Pattern 2023 • The B.Ed exam pattern is not definite and varies with every institution, university and state conducting B.Ed entrance exams. However, a general B.Ed exam pattern is given below for the candidates to get an idea of what they can expect in the B.Ed entrance exam 2023. • The candidates will be questioned under distinct sections such as the following. • Basic Numerical and Reasoning Ability • Teaching Aptitude • General English • General Awareness • Local language (in some state-level exams) • The exam might sometimes be conducted across two papers, Paper 1 and Paper2. • The subject knowledge of the candidates in the major of their degree will also be tested. • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are the usual type of questions asked in the B.Ed entrance exams.
