  3. SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria • Candidates who age between 21-32 years are eligible to appear for SSC CGL. (the upper age limit varies according to the requirement of the posts). • Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university • For the candidates who will be applying for the position of Junior Statistical Officer must have obtained 60% in mathematics in class 12 examination and they should have completed graduation in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation. • Candidates applying for the post of an inspector in Central Excise, Examiner, Preventive Officer, Sub-Inspector in CBI and Sub-Inspector in NIA must be physically fit as mentioned in the SSC website.

  4. SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern • SSC CGL 2023 Tier-1 exam will be conducted online comprising 4 sections with 100 multiple choice questions in total and with maximum marks of 200. The entire exam is needed to be completed in a time span of 60 minutes. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be of qualifying nature and marks will not be counted in the final selection. • The sections asked in SSC CGL Tier-I Exam are: • General Intelligence & Reasoning • General Awareness • Quantitative Aptitude • English Comprehension

  5. Penalty of Wrong Answer: There is a negative marking of 0.50 Marks for each wrong answer.
