HISTORY Ramchandra Chandravansi University was established in the year 2008 in the regions of Garhwa and Palamu. Setting up an educational institute in such an area was the biggest obstacle. But still, keeping all that aside, they rose to success in no time and were able to produce some exciting alumni to the society. The university throws a lot of impact on socially relevant issues and has consistently promoted the well-being of society. INFRASTRUCTURE • The university provides some of the best infrastructure highlights, such as spacious classrooms with innovative class facilities and so on. • The university also consists of a library where the students are able to access the books regarding academics and encyclopedias. It also has a collection of around 600 project reports, 45000+ books, 500+ titles, and so on. It has a seating capacity of approximately 250 students at a time. Also, the books are available digitally. • The university also gives the option of hostel facilities to the students who are staying far away from home. The boy’s hostel has a capacity of 125 students, and the girl’s hostel has a capacity of 80 students. It provides a full-time warden in addition to games, laundry, TV, Indoor games, and so on.
Sports is something which is always appreciated on the campus. It has different kinds of sports such as cricket, volleyball, table tennis, football, kabaddi, basketball and so on. • Since the RCU is a home of many other institutions and hence they have a guest house present for the facilities. The room is furnished with a TV, LCD, AC, and all such basic amenities are provided. • The students have medical facilities so that they are able to assist the students when at times, they need medical emergencies. • Wi-Fi is something that is available everywhere around the campus. • The university is provided with a canteen which serves fresh and basic food which has the capacity of more than 300 students at a time.
