  2. Introduction NEET (in NEET SS) stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. But, it was formerly known as the All India Pre-Medical Test(AIPMT). It is a pre-medical exam for students nationwide. So, it is for people who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS). Most importantly, this exam marks its validation abroad as well. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It provides the outcome to the Directorate General of Health Services. It categorizes under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and State Counselling Authorities. the Govt. made an amendment to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 in 2016. After that NEET was granted a statutory status. So, they could monitor and conduct entrance examinations for all medical sciences including super specialty courses. In the year 2017, the authorities on a national level, however, made a review of the exam structure. The status of this was also assessed.   3. NEET SS EXAM Eligibility Criteria • NEET SS has released a detailed notification related to eligibility criteria for the exam. Quite some parameters are there that the candidates need to meet.
