  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY Matsya Institution (RRBMU), originally Raj Rishi BhartrihariMatsya University, is a state university in Alwar, Rajasthan, India. The Matsya University, Alwar Act, 2012 was passed by the Rajasthan government in 2012, and it was then renamed by the Matsya University, Alwar (Change of Name) Act, 2014. All colleges in the Alwar area are under its authority. According to Rajasthan Government notice No. 203 (3) dated March 04, 2015, Raj Rishi BharahtriMatsya University Alwar has authority over all academic, teacher training, and legal colleges in the Alwar district.

  5. HISTORY The establishment of Matsya University in Alwar was announced by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan in his 2012-13 budget address. On the 23rd of August, 2012, the University published a gazette notice (Matsya University Act, 2012 No. 29). On 04-07-2014, the name of the institution was changed to Raj Rishi BhartrihariMatsya University, Alwar, by state government notification No. 2 (14) Vidhi/02/2014. The University's temporary site is now housed at the BSR Govt Arts College's Girls Hostel Building in Alwar. After the construction work on the building is completed, the University's permanent campus will be located in Village Haldeena, Tehsil Malakhera.

  6. Bachelor's Degrees: RRBMU is well-known for its bachelor's degree programmes. BSC, B.Com, BA (Hons), BBA, BCA, and others.
