This figure sits on the higher end of a range of 9% to 20% offered by many analysts in the industry. IDC has one of the most positive outlooks, projecting a 20% surge next year. According to many analysts, the chip industry is poised for a strong year of growth in 2024 after overcoming circumstances hampering the market in 2023 and the year prior. While next year’s anticipated growth is undoubtedly good news for the industry, not all chip makers should expect to realize the benefits equally. Even so, 2024 appears to be a bright year for the semiconductor continuing to increase their role in every aspect of daily life, maintaining a robust supply chain and minimizing shortages and gluts remains paramount.
