CISCOLICENSE

Cisco licensing has always offered a perpetual licensing approach in which you buy once and maintain the license for the life of the device. When that hardware is replaced, the license becomes obsolete, and the new gear requires its own set of licenses (s). If you RMA the device, you may be eligible for a one-time transfer of that license to the new hardware, but that is the exception rather than the rule. This applies to all hardware.<br><br>
