  1. Plastic Surgery Archives - Coastal Ear Nose & Throat Cont....

  2. Know About Skin Cancer (Mohs) Reconstruction After Mohs surgery (skin cancer removal) on the face, patients want the best cosmetic and functional result possible. This requires sophisticated surgical techniques along with expectional understanding of the anatomy and dynamic movement of the face. Reconstructions including recruitment of nearby skin and grafts are used to restore the aesthetic and functional structure of the face. Dr. Goldfarb uses his knowledge of facial anatomy and function combined with meticulous surgical technique to reconstruct the face in ways that optimize skin color matching, contour, and structural support to give you the best possible outcome. He works closely with Mohs surgeons to plan and coordinate your reconstructive procedure and minimize downtime.

  3. Filler injections are used to replace volume in areas of the face that have lost their volume due to the changes of aging and the effects of gravity. Under the eyes, they can be used to smooth out the tear trough and reduce the appearance of bags and dark circles. In the cheeks, they can help restore volume and give the face a desirable triangular or “heart” shape. In the lips, they can be used to add fullness and a plump shape. Fillers can be used along the chin or jaw to help define the lower face. Dr. Goldfarb is conservative in how he uses fillers to prioritize a natural, refreshed and rejuvenated appearance. Know About Filler Injections

  4. Know More About Botox Injections Botox is a great too to maintain a soft, rested and rejuvenated appearance. Botox injections work by temporarily lightening the muscles around an area of wrinkles so they become less prominent. Botox is very useful for preventing or pausing dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles you only see when you move your face) from becoming static wrinkles (wrinkles that are “etched” in the skin and visible even at rest). Botox injections are safe, minimally invasive, and well-tolerated. They are an effective part of the facial care regimen for both men and women beginning in their late 20s and up.

  5. Know About Facial Nerve Reconstruction Facial Nerve weakness or spasm from conditions such as Bell’s Palsy affects almost every aspect of facial function and can be devastating for patients’ daily wellbeing. The treatment for facial nerve changes depends on the cause and what the symptoms are – every patient is different. Dr. Goldfarb is experienced in the treatment of facial palsy and performs eyelid weight implantation, lower eyelid tightening, brow lifts, facial slings, and Botox injections to improve symmetry of the face.

  6. Know More About Browlift Over time, the eyebrows tend to descend downward with gravity, resulting in a tired appearance. A browlift is designed to reverse this process. Using different techniques around the hairline or in natural existing skin creases Dr. Goldfarb can elevate the eyebrows back to their natural position. This minimally invasive procedure can be performed either on its own or can be combined with other procedures to rejuvenate the area around the eyes for a more rested, youthful appearance.

  7. Know More About Blepharoplasty Blepharoplasty, or an “eyelid lift”, is an eyelid surgery designed to give the area around the eyes a more youthful, refreshed appearance. A blepharoplasty can be performed on just the upper eyelids, just the lower eyelids, or both. Dr. Goldfarb is experienced in many different techniques for blepharoplasty, which allows him to customize your surgery to best suit your facial characteristics and aesthetic goals. These techniques include selective removal of skin or fat, or in the case of the lower eyelids, transconjunctival incisions (no external eyelid incisions) and fat transpositioning (smoothing the tear trough).

  8. Know More About Facelift and Necklift A facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgery to correct the changes in the face and neck that occur from aging. Specifically, a facelift can tighten excess neck skin, significantly reduce jowling, smooth the jawline, and help restore volume to the cheeks that has flattened and descended over time. All these changes help achieve a youthful, refreshed, and rejuvenated appearance. Dr. Goldfarb is highly trained in both deep-plane and minimally invasive face-lifting. Dr. Goldfarb also employs techniques to achieve rejuvenation of the neck together with a facelift or alone to help define the neck and jawline. During your consultation, you and Dr. Goldfarb will discuss your areas of concern and work together to plan a procedure plan that is most appropriate for your needs and expectations.

  9. Know About Nasal obstruction (Deviated Septum) The shape of your nasal cavity could be the cause of difficulty breathing through your nose or contributing to episodes of sinusitis. The nasal septum is the wall dividing the nasal cavity into halves; it is composed of a central supporting skeleton covered on each side by mucous membrane. The front portion of this natural partition is a firm, but bendable structure made mostly of cartilage and is covered by skin that has a substantial supply of blood vessels. The ideal nasal septum is exactly midline, separating the left and right sides of the nose into passageways of equal size.

  10. Know More About Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery) A rhinoplasty, or “nose job”, is a surgery that changes the shape and structure of the nose. This procedure can be performed for functional reasons to breathe better, for cosmetic reasons to change how the nose looks, or both at the same time. Functional nose surgery helps to better support the nose to allow for straight open nasal airway passages that resist collapse. Cosmetic nose surgery can be performed to change many aspect of the nose such as the size, bumps, straightness and shape of the tip. Dr. Goldfarb has extensively trained, researched, taught and presented on advanced modern techniques in all aspects of rhinoplasty surgery.
