EL GLOBO CARBÓNICO MATERIAL • 1 matraz Erlenmeyer • 1 embudo • 1 espátula • 1 globo • Vinagre • Bicarbonato • Tiras pH
PROCEDIMIENTO • Se añade vinagre al matraz (dos dedos de altura aproximadamente) • Se añaden dos cucharadas, aproximadamente, de bicarbonato al globo (con ayuda de un embudo) • Se coloca el globo sobre la boca del matraz y se vierte el bicarbonato sobre el vinagre.
EXPLICACIÓN • Tiene lugar la reacción entre vinagre y bicarbonato. El CO2 producto de la reacción hace que el globo se hinche. • Es una reacción ácido-base de neutralización. • El vinagre es un acido y el producto resultante neutro. Se puede demostrar con tiras de pH
