  2. In whole body cryotherapy treatment your body is exposed to an extremely cold temperature of about 220-250 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes. Originally, cryotherapy was designed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. You will be accompanied by a technician during the whole 3 minutes and if at any time you are too cold or uncomfortable, you can ask your technician to stop the procedure immediately. You are not locked in the cryosauna and you can easily exit the chamber at any time before your treatment ends.

  5. You need to take off your clothes completely: Yes this is true, you will be stripping down for the cryotherapy procedure. Before the procedure you will be asked to take off your clothes and wear a robe. Some women prefer to wear bra and panties, others wear one or the other. It’s totally up to you and what you are comfortable with. Once you step in the cryosauna, you have to hand over your robe to the assisting personnel. When the cryotherapy procedure ends, you will be given back the robe and the doors of the cryosauna will only be opened once your say so – nobody sees anything!

  6. Frostbite: This will never happen to you during the procedure. Cold air therapy in the whole-body chamber uses dry, oxygenated air, so you won’t experience frostbite. The technician will explain exactly what would happen as you enter the chamber, just follow the guidelines and you will be perfectly fine. Cryosauna: If you’re quite claustrophobic, you might have the feeling of anxiety when inside the closed chamber. Worry not, the cryosauna have enough space for you to move freely. You can move your body inside the chamber during the procedure, you can even dance if you want just with slightly restricted movements.
