  1. You Your r Scop Scope e of DD DDA J A J Zone of Ownin Owning Zone is g a Home a Home in is Her Here e in The Land Pooling Policy of Delhi is considered a game-changing scheme for the national capital. This policy would not only make it easy to achieve the land acquisition objective but would also aid in the accomplishment of infrastructure assignments. The policy would be opening new scopes of investment for people. Recently, Mr. Anil Baijal, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi approved a total of 95 villages under the section of development areas by way of Delhi LPP. This will possibly allow the borders of Delhi to serve as new economic sections or zones. This would further result in the decongestion of the existing crowded housing societies around the capital. It is also being expected that around 25 lakh new and affordable residential units would be developed in these zones for bringing the burden of over-population off the national capital.

  2. Zones Under LPP Under MPD 2021, Delhi has been divided into a total of 15 zones from Zone A to Zone H and Zone J to Zone P. The main objective served by LPP is developing peripheral regions lying in Zones P1m P2m K1, K2 and L Zone and J Zone. The approval that has come in regards to the convening of 95 villages in the form of development sectors has been worked upon. These villages have been divided into a total of five zones namely the L Zone, K1 Zone, P2 Zone, J Zone and N Zone. It is to be noted that the K1 zone is comprised of 20 villages; the N zone is comprised of 21 villages; the L zone has 30 villages; the P2 zones has 23 villages and the J zone has just one village. DDA L Zone is the largest of all the zones and is spread over an area of 22,000 hectares. Main Features of J Zone Going through the DDA J Zone topography will help you in finding out that this zone has a very gentle slope towards the Najafgarh Drain. This zone covers an area of 6515 hectares. Out of this total area, approximately 2883 hectares of land has been used for the development of illegal colonies and built up industrial, residential and commercial regions. As per the 2001 census report, this zone has a population of 5.0 lakh residing in 1802 unauthentic houses spread over 26 villages. It is a little difficult to come up with the exact figures. This is mainly due to the differences in physical village boundary and the census charges on this zone. It is worth noting that in order to make things easier, DDA has decided to tweak the Land Pooling Policy which would consequently assist the procedure of meeting the demands of the growing population. Owning a home in Delhi is no longer a dream with the LPP I place.
