Update Two Steps Authentication Details In Xero Account In case you are not able to sign in to your Xero account or don’t have access to your authenticator app to receive verification code, you can still log in using your recovery method. Either, answer the security questions you’ve set for recovery or use your alternate email address to get into your account. Once you’ll get into your account, you can either change your set up the device in 2 steps authentication or disable it.

  3. Now use the below steps to log in using a recovery method: • Visit Xero login page and then enter your account credentials in the labeled fields to sign in. • Select Use another authentication method and then click on Security questions. • Make sure to answer all the security questions accurately and then click on Login. • If you don’t remember the answers to your security questions, you can also use your alternative email address to login.

Now use the below steps to log in using a recovery method: • Again on the login page, fill in your account credentials in the given boxes and then click on Sign In. • Now select Use another authentication method and then click on Alternative email. • Select Send code and then check for the verification email in the inbox. • Enter the verification code in the given filed and select Login.

  5. Use The Steps Given Below: Once you get into your account successfully, you are ready to change your recovery methods details. To do so: • Log into Xero and then select your profile photo on the upper right corner. • Select Account and then select Disable under Two-step authentication.

  6. Use The Steps Given Below: • Now you will need to enter the verification code sent on your authenticator application. In case you don’t have access to it, you can select I can’t use my authenticator app to use the recovery method. • At last select Disable.
