  3. COMPLETE DENTURES- They replace all the missing teeth. Immediate dentures: are placed directly after extracting the nonrestorable teeth. Once the denture is delivered it takes a few weeks until the dentures feel comfortable in your mouth. Sore spots may develop where the denture impinges on the gum tissue and this can be easily relieved during a follow-up appointment.

  5. Good Denture care is essential for good oral health. a) Use a folded towel while removing and wearing your dentures to prevent breaking of the denture from slipping. Rinse and brush your Dentures daily, using a soft-bristled toothbrush- Like your teeth, dentures also need daily brushing to remove the plaque and food. a) Rinse the denture with room temperature water or a denture cleaning solution. Do not use toothpaste, hand soap, laundry detergent and dishwashing soap. b) Remove your dentures at night to let the gum tissues breathe and prevent redness and inflammation of the tissues. Store the dentures in a denture case.
