BIS Certification-for-home-appliances

According to the Safety of Household, Commercial, and Similar Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Order, 2025, as published by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), all home appliance manufacturers must be BIS certified. This includes appliances such as vacuum cleaners, electric knives, tumble dryers, cookers, ovens, etc. To sell these products in the Indian market, manufacturers must ensure compliance with Indian Standard IS 302 (Part 1): 2024.<br><br>
