It is ideal for search and rescue operations and can be used to rescue casualties from building collapse, industrial incidents or con몭ned spaces. The Paraguard Excel Stretcher has been developed from the popular Paraguard MKIII to provide a superior rescue stretcher. Constructed from 몭ame resistant materials, high quality aluminium and stainless steel, the Paraguard Stretcher is impervious to water, grease, oil and other petroleum products and is resistant to corrosion and rot.

  2. It is particularly useful for high building, mountain and helicopter rescues. A 4-Point Lifting harness is available with sturdy yet lightweight karabiners for vertical lifting. In use since WWII Paragard medical stretchers are approved for use by many authorities including NATO 6530-99-446-9403.  The Paraguard Stretcher is quick and simple to use with various straps to secure the chest, arms, thighs and lower legs. The head is held in place by a 3-point, non-slip forehead strap. A 몭gure of eight strap supports the feet. To enhance infection control the 몭aps are wipe clean and the patient pads may be detached from the base for washing. Also available for the Paraguard Stretcher are a set of slot in carrying handles so that two medics can carry the victim. These can also be used in conjunction with the Paraguard Shoulder Harness which will displace the victims weight onto the rescuers shoulders, hips and legs. When moving in awkward spaces the unique construction allow the centre of the Paraguard stretcher to unlock and bend around corners. For fast deployment new speed links also enable the stretcher to quickly unfold when removed from storage.
