SMILE (Small incision lenticule extraction): In this surgery, VisuMax femtosecond laser is used to make an arc-shaped cut on the cornea. Before this, the lenticule (a small disc-shaped piece of the cornea) is made. Then the bubbles are formed around the tissue that is needed to be extracted.
