  1. Certified Energy Auditor The Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) certification program does not certify participants to do home audits; instead, it focuses solely on Energy Audit for commercial and industrial facilities. The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is issuing the Certified Energy Auditor certification, and the program is based on ASHRAE criteria. An energy auditor examines and analyzes the way energy is utilized in a business or institutional building, discovers opportunities for energy conservation, and offers suggestions for how consumption might be minimized or maximized. There are three primary categories of Energy Audit: Level 1 audits, which are walkthrough surveys that enable you to find potential energy-saving opportunities quickly. Level 2 audits are energy survey studies frequently utilized in commercial buildings, and Level 3 audits (are detailed analyses of capital-intensive modifications). Participants receive the foundational knowledge necessary to assess how energy is used in a building and determine where consumption can be decreased throughout the four-day Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) program. It also discusses helpful math techniques through real-world examples and peers exercises.

  2. If you are or will be involved in commercial building audits and want to deepen your understanding of the entire energy auditing and reporting process, this course is for you. The training also prepares you to take the test and get your CEA certificate. Professionals who pass the certification exam will be recognized as having the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the energy auditing industry. A CEA may conduct a thorough analysis of the energy systems in a building, from a preliminary survey to an investment-grade audit, and can pinpoint energy-saving strategies while considering factors like indoor air quality, code compliance, operations and maintenance, and risk reduction. These subjects will be covered in the CEA course, giving students the knowledge they need to improve their energy auditors' abilities. Providing the client with thorough implementation plans and investment-grade analyses, a CEA will effectively interact with them.
