  5. The Problem: ISPs (Internet Service Providers) have full control of our data with little regulations places on the actions they can take with it. •ISPs may be able to block certian services or information. •ISPs may tier their service so that certian services will have priority.

  6. What is Net Neutrality? Forwarding packets on a first-come, first served basis without regard to the information contained within.

  7. State of the Internet in the U.S. Few ISPs control almost all of the high-speed internet market.

  14. What can you do? 1. Be aware. 2. Spread the word. 3. Don't support non-neutral ISPs. 4. Support the Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2008 (HR 5353). Contact your elected officials and urge them to support HR 5353.
