  1. 5 STEPS TO RECONFIGURE VIRGIN HUB

  2. 1.RESET THE VIRGIN MEDIA HUB (OPTIONAL) If you want to start fresh with a clean configuration, press and hold the reset button on the back of the Virgin Media Hub for about 10-15 seconds using a pin or paperclip. This will reset the device to its factory settings. The hub will reboot, and you’ll need to reconnect devices afterward.

  3. 2.LOG IN TO THE VIRGIN MEDIA HUB ADMIN PAGE Open a web browser and type http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar (this is the default IP address for the Virgin Media Hub). Enter the username and password when prompted. By default, the username is "admin" and the password is either "admin" or "changeme" (unless you have changed them before). If you’ve reset the hub, these will be the default values.

  4. 3.NAVIGATE TO SETTINGS Once logged in, you will land on the Virgin Media Hub admin dashboard. From here, you can access and modify various settings. To change your Wi-Fi settings, click on the "Wireless" or "Wi-Fi Settings" option. You can update the Wi-Fi network name (SSID), password, and wireless channel settings.

  5. 4.ADJUST ROUTER SETTINGS (IF NEEDED) In addition to Wi-Fi settings, you can also configure advanced settings such as port forwarding, DHCP, and DNS settings under "Advanced Settings" or "Network Settings". Make any necessary changes to your Virgin Media Hub settings, such as setting a static IP or disabling features like Smart Wi-Fi.

  6. 5.SAVE CHANGES AND REBOOT After making the desired changes, click "Apply" or "Save" to confirm your settings The Virgin Media Hub may prompt you to restart. If so, allow it to reboot to apply the changes.
