  2. Session Objectives • Provide an overview of the functions, features and reporting capabilities of the ISIR Analysis Tool • Run ISIR Analysis Tool Reports, conduct analysis and draw conclusions using a case study • Demonstrate how to reshape and model your school’s verification foundation

  3. Part 1 – Starting From the Ground Up With the ISIR Analysis Tool • Access the ISIR Analysis Tool • Identify ISIR records to analyze • Create ASCII file(s) • Upload and validate records

  4. Part 2 – Developing the Blueprint Using Reports in the ISIR Analysis Tool • Navigate through the ISIR Analysis Tool • Run the eight standard reports available in the Tool • Complete worksheet for each report

  5. Part 3 – Laying The Foundation • Use a Case-Study to identify and analyze the top ISIR element changes for the school • Run Two Standard Reports: the Field Change Report and the Field Increment Report • Narrow the focus of analysis on: Dependent students, Pell eligible, had a Pell change, and parents are estimated filers

  6. Part 4 – Building A Sound Structure • Use data collected in Part three to analyze one of the school’s discretionary verification criteria • Determine if existing criteria should be modified or kept as is • Discuss analysis results with group

  7. Is Your Verification House In Order? • What will you do when you get back to your campus? • Does your school’s current discretionary verification procedures warrant an extreme makeover?
