    7. Florida District Courts of Appeal Appellate jurisdiction only Hear both criminal and civil appeals 1 in each of 5 judicial circuits 3 justice panel Decisions appealed to the Florida Supreme Court

    8. Florida Supreme Court Final appellate jurisdiction for Florida Hears both criminal and civil appeals Reviews all death sentences Cases involving federal issues can be appealed directly to the U.S. Supreme Court
