  3. What is the University System of Ohio Talent Development Network (USO TDN)? A state-wide workforce development system facilitated through Adult Career Centers and Public Two-Year Colleges that utilizes a variety of “Best In Class” National and International vendors to provide top notch talent development services to employers and individuals, at an affordable price.

  7. Membership Model • Implemented due to state funding ending • Introduced summer 2009 • Enrollment fall 2009

Membership Levels • Level I: Multi-Vendor and WorkKeys Solution Provider (WSP) 16 members • Level II A: Multi-Vendor 9 members • Level II B: WorkKeys Solution Provider (WSP) 22 members • Level III: Multi-Vendor and WorkKeys Limited Access 2 members • Level IV: WorkKeys Limited Access 12 members 61 Total Members

  9. Partnering • Lorain County: Lorain County Community College Level IIA and Lorain County Joint Vocational School Level IIB • MOU being developed • Willing to share as a model

  13. In Progress • ACT WorkKeys -NCRC Master Site Contract • ACT Legal Dept. working with LCCC to modify language based on review by Attorney General’s (AG) Office • Confidentially – Revised language to AG’s Office 3/9/10 • Limitation of Liability

In Progress • Formation of USO TDN Advisory Committee • Application currently being developed • Two year term • Guidelines set by Ohio Board of Regents (OBR) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) • 8 member committee • 4 from two-year campuses • At least one from a university regional campus • 4 from Adult Career Centers • At least one from a compact or comprehensive school district • One rep. from two-year campus and one rep. from Adult Career Center will serve as co-chairs • National Association of Manufactures (NAM) - Endorsed Skills Certification • “Deep Dive” Initiative at LCCC – Identified 5 different groups as potential participants in NCRC pilot • After pilot, state-wide rollout
